ANDDDDD WE’RE BACK! After two long weeks have passed, Episode 5 has just aired and ended. Shelby is back for tonight’s Bachelorette recap, so without waiting much longer, here is what went down:
We start off with Chad being made out to look like a serial killer as he makes his way back to the house. What actually happens once he’s let in is the guys attack him (as always) and he walks off gracefully without bloody knuckles or causing a scene. Chad, we love you and will miss you dearly. Also, now that the group needs a new villain, they’ve chosen Derek. Although he’ll never replace Chad, he’ll suffice for now.
JoJo’s ex, who’s ironically also named Chad, was featured in a crappy tabloid article that just so happened to get into the house and within reach of the guys. After they obsessed over it all day while Jordan and JoJo were on their one-on-one date, JoJo found out the news and had to shine light on the situation. She reveals how terrible the relationship was and how she’s “here for the right reasons,” and the guys reassure her the article means nothing (despite the fact they all were pissed moments prior)… and they all lived happily ever after.
Overall, the episode was still packed with drama and Alex still talked a ton of shit.
There were two rose ceremonies. In the first, James F. and Daniel were sent home. In the second, Vinny, Evan, and Grant were sent home. As Chad said in a recent tweet:
We all knew Grant and Evan were goin home LoL lets not BS ourselves. Omg JoJizzle get it over with 😜 @VINNYVINSANE is tight as hell though

We’re left off with a suspenseful trailer showing JoJo telling a finalist that he can’t love her the way she needs to be loved. Side note, are we actually that close to the end of the season already? Time flies when you blog about other people’s lives!
PS: EVAN WENT HOME!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!!!!! NO MORE BITCHING!
PPS: Vinny’s tears were sadder than Evan’s. Sorry not sorry.
Shelby: I’m depressed. This show sucks without Chad. Just kidding, I still love it… but I’m truly going to miss Chad. Anyways, I hate Alex so much. He’s a little rat who tries to throw everyone under the bus. Stop causing drama for no reason! Idiot. Oh, and thank GOD I don’t have to see Evan’s face anymore. When Vinny got sent home, that was the first time I heard him say more than three words in a row… AND THE CRYING?!? It’s week 5. I’m confused. And Robby is in love? #kk
Morgan: I am SO happy Evan went home. Still love Chad. Still love Chase. Proud of James T. for not singing or playing his guitar. Losing my interest in Jordan. He gives off that player vibe. I obviously couldn’t tell before I professed my love for him in the first Bachelorette recap blog. No big deal. Just following suit of my love life. :’)
Shelby: I think Jordan is the one who JoJo tells in the finale preview she can’t choose. I think Wells is next to go home. I think Robby still has a chance to win, and James doesn’t.
Morgan: Wells or James T. is probably going to go home next. I like Luke, but I think Robby and Jordan are going to be the two finalists in this season. I have absolutely no idea who JoJo was speaking to in that trailer, BUT I CAN’T WAIT TO FIND OUT.
And that’s all, errbody! Thanks for tuning in for yet another The Bachelorette BFF Recap with Shelby and Morgan.
Catch you all next week for another exciting episode of ABC’s The Bachelorette (without Evan! Yes! Just kidding… not really though. God bless America).
